History

November 1935 Established Toyo Rubber Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. as a 50-50 joint venture between Mitsui Co., Ltd and
Nettai Sangyo Co., Ltd. in Kawagoe(Miyamoto) Plant, Saitama Pref. with capital of 350 thousand.
November 1936 Began production of Round rubber and Foam rubber.
October 1957 Capital increased to 100.8 million yen.
Expansion in Kawagoe Plants for Foam rubber plant with the first and epoch-making automated system in
Japan.
November 1959 Entrusted with the management of government-owned equipment from the Defense Agency.
Construction of the first tire-renovation plant in Japan as government-owned equipment under private
management in Jujo, Kita-ku, Tokyo.
August 1961 Signed technical assistance agreement for production of Polyurethane foam with Bayer AG in West Germany,
imported new foaming machines, and constructed new plant for production of many kinds of polyurethane
foams in Naguwashi plant (current Kawagoe Plant).
October 1962 Began production of Polyurethane foam in new Kawagoe Plant.
November 1965 Construction of new machinery and equipment for “Hot Mold” in Kawagoe Plant.
November 1969 Development and beginning sales of incombustible polyurethane foams.
September 1981 Began of mass production of HR Mold.
June 1986 Construction of new machinery and equipment for full-scale production of C-Lite in Kawagoe Plant.
September 1990 Construction of new machinery and equipment for Hi-Seal in Kawagoe Plant.
November 1991 Change in corporate name to “Toyo Quality One Corporation”.
April 1992 Launched Real estate leasing business redevelopment plan of former Kawagoe Plant (Miyamoto Plant).
March 1994 Capital increased to 800 million yen.
March 2000 Acquision of ISO9001 certification.
February 2002 Acquision of ISO14001 certification.
October 2004 Established Toyo Quality One Guangzhou Co., Ltd. (GTQ) jointly with Nagase & Co., Ltd.
(current Consolidated subsidiary)
April 2006 Established TQ-1 Eco Co., Ltd. (TQE) as a recycling factory (current Consolidated subsidiary).
April 2007 Established T.T. Corporation jointly with Toyo Tire & Rubber Co.,Ltd. for integrating the soft slab production
department of the Hyogo plant which covers western area in Japan.
October 2008 Obtained 50% share of Toyo Soflantec Co., Ltd. (TST, as manufacturing and marketing units for polyurethane
foam) from Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd.
November 2010 Established TIMLE S.A DE C.V (TIMLE) jointly with UREBLOCK, S.A. DE C.V., Achilles Corporation, and
Nagase & Co., Ltd. in Mexico.
February 2012 Established TQ1 de MEXICO S.A DE C.V (TQMX) jointly with UREBLOCK, S.A. DE C.V. and Nagase & Co.,
Ltd. in Mexico.
March 2012 Obtained 100% share of both T.T. Corporation Co., Ltd., and Toyo Soflantec Co., Ltd. from Toyo Tire &
Rubber Co., Ltd., so that it would become our wholly owned subsidiary companies.
December 2016 Established Zhejiang Toyo Quality One Co.,LTD. (ZTQ) (current Consolidated subsidiary)
January 2017 TQ-1 de MEXICO S.A DE C.V (TQMX) merged Timle, S.A. de C.V.(TIMLE) by absorption with all of Timle’s
equity.
December 2018 Obtained 65% share of T.T.M. Co., Ltd. (TTM) from Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd.
Obtained 100% share of F.C.C. Co., Ltd. (FCC) from Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd., so that it would become our wholly owned subsidiary companies.
January 2021 Merger of Toyo Soflantec Co., Ltd.(wholly owned subsidiary company)
January 2022 Obtained 100% share ot T.T.M Corporation Co., Ltd., so that it would become our wholly owned sibsidiary   companies.
March 2022 Obtained 100% share of both Toyo Quality One Ningbo Co., Ltd. and Toyo Quality One Zhejiang Co., Ltd.,  so that it would become our wholly owned subsidiary companies.
