The PUF is widely used not only for bodies of automobiles, commuting vehicles and
airplanes, but also the interior parts for its lightness, cushioning and processability.
Mold-foaming cushion characteristics are both high flexibility of the design and superiority of working accuracy, have been used in most of automobiles, commuting vehicles and
airplanes. The PUF contributes to the global warming control for its lightness to save
energy or resources. Besides, our processing technology to soft-foam materials is used in heat insulating materials for space stations and ships.
TQ-1 has various achievements by innovating two major technologies on the PUF:
“flaming retardation” and “Molding Method.
Especially TQ-1 is the first company of its industry to have cleared American car security
standard “MVSS” for the flaming retardation. These results achieved, to make the TQ-1’s products adopted by most of major automobile manufacturers in Japan.
In addition, "Aspitch Mold” is used for the engine room of RV and Diesel cars, because of
its excellent effect in vibration dumping and sound-insulating.
TQ-1, has worked for improving flame retardation technologies proactively, the material
has already cleared flame retardant test for the railway vehicle. Thereby TQ-1 products
have been adopted by the conventional lines, limited expresses and Shinkansen.
Furthermore, TQ-1 also cleared the fireproof examination of the American Civil Aviation
Bureau standard that verifies combustibleness by directly applying 1,200 degrees from
gas burner, and passed all of the examination of American Society for Testing and
Materials for fuming gas and gas concentration. The products of TQ-1 are introduced into domestic and foreign aircrafts and they’re flying the sky around the world.
In addition, TQ-1 provides polyimide that has a property not to be changed under the
temperature of 260 degrees, as heat insulating materials for space stations and ships.
